Jacob Dinesen | One Step At A Time

The title of Jacob Dinesen's new album is on the one hand the story of a 28-year-old rock comet who, against all odds, became one of the biggest phenomena on the Danish music scene in recent times. Five albums and endless sold-out tours later, "One Step at a Time" is also the story of a young person with a renewed outlook on life, of a musician ready to shake up people's perception of who he is and what he stands for through new melodies and words from a songwriter who is just getting started!

"One Step at a Time" has become a collection of songs from a 28-year-old young man who still sings from the heart, but with optimism and an eye turned upside down to the world around him.

For the first time, Dinesen has collaborated with two others during the writing process: producer Kasper Falkenberg and songwriter Mattis Jacobsen. A transgressive experience for a young, yes, but by now also experienced rock singer who has been used to acting on his own. But it quickly became an artistic and creative eye-opener - a place where he could let go of all the impulses he harbours as a musician, from folk to country, soul, Americana and pop, grounded safely and securely in the roots of rock.
