Elbow | Audio Vertigo
In March, Elbow is set to release their tenth studio album titled ‘Audio Vertigo.’ This album, which signifies a notable shift for the band since the release of ‘Flying Dream 1’ in 2021, was recorded in 2023 across various locations: their own home studios, Migration Studios in Gloucestershire, The Dairy in London, and the final mixing was done at Blueprint Studios in Salford.
Guy Garvey, the band's lead singer and lyricist, describes ‘Audio Vertigo’ as an assembly of ‘gnarly, seedy grooves,’ a result of the band's collaborative efforts in what he calls 'garagey rooms.' He notes that this album differs from its predecessor, offering a more straightforward approach and a deliberate variation in its sound.
The album includes the lead single "Lovers’ Leap."
