Jenny Hval is one of the most uncompromising and respected musicians of her generation. She constantly explores and expands familiar genres and styles, but without the listener being lost on the way. A modern Kate Bush. Fans kindly take part in her adventurous musical journeys, which last featured the excellent synthpop masterpiece The Practice of Love (2019) and the magnificent album The Human Collective - the latter made with Håvard Volden under the project name Lost Girls.

The style from The Practice of Love continues on the new solo album Classic Objects , where you can hear on the excellent single forerunners that the 80's electronic melodies are elegantly spiced with African-inspired percussion.
