Mary Shelley

Mathilda Mary Shelley

Mary Shelley, who could not publish her masterpiece "Mathilda" while alive, who had to wait one hundred and forty years to see the light. A markedly biographical story, undoubtedly, that tells the dark side of the story of the writer herself, faithful to the romantic theory that the best way to express passions is to experience them. Melancholic novel explores the nature of sorrow, the power of love, destruction as a consequence of defying nature, the perverse power of desire.
