In times of stress we seek comfort, self-love, food, understanding. All the treats and spoils laid out for us--by the very thing we seek to flee. In just doing what comes naturally, we sit still as stress gently blindfolds us. Gently steers us. Gently lies to us. The result...an ugly that festered from a seed within. An ugly that spreads when we find the need again. The answer? Let Him take off the blindfold.


The Quest for The Ugly Inside is a collection of poems written from the dark ages of one Christian's life. A journey of being loved away from the depths of hell inside the brain. It's moody, it's emotional, it's contemplative, but there's a happy ending for those who reach the last page.


Who is He? He is God. He is the one who saved me.
