When we ascend to love instead of falling into love, the infinite continuum of God's love proves to be an anchor. Consider stormproofing your marriage by choosing to ascend. Don't settle for falling in love when God has promised so much more. Divorce proof your relationship by striving to ascend and never fall in love again. By faith, the love between husband and wife, if birthed and nurtured in daily prayer together, will congeal into a cooperative armor able to withstand any challenge or opposition to the God-ordained relationship (Ephesians 6:10-18). Despite what people on the outside, looking in, say as they walk by sight rather than by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7), no weapon formed against your relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). As those close to you get to know your beloved and begin to trust his or her motives, pray fervently that they will cease being overprotective and allowing, even unintentionally, their tongues to rise against you or your beloved in judgement.
