Anger and Retribution: A story about womens' scorn, revenge and a desperate search for justice

Former schoolfriends reunite socially to enjoy sentimental recollections of their adolescent years. All goes well and the bond between them is enthusiastically rekindled, until tragedy strikes, when one of their members is brutally raped and murdered. Detective Inspector Kate Sheppard, one of the same small group has the unenviable task of finding the killer. Against a background of social and professional difficulties, she eventually identifies the person responsible, who Kate learns is a serial killer and also a known active terrorist. The evidence against the culprit is overwhelming, or so she believes. When the murderer and rapist of four women is acquitted at court, the remaining three close friends and confidantes are distraught. Is it possible for them to continue in the knowledge that their friend's death will never be avenged?The story continues with various twists and turns until it reaches a dramatic and devastating conclusion.
