Love, Sex, and Mud Honey

"Love, Sex, and Mud Honey" is the sequel to the novel "Mostafarian Stir Fry Spectacular" by David I. Black. As welfare journalism in the tabloids becomes increasingly strange, Dan Copanke, (now a tax consultant at a large firm), is hot on the trail of it. Afraid now to ever "step on a gun," Dan chances upon a tabloid article about the strange efforts of a Belgium welfare office to "hire a god" in order to "cause more sperm to be released" to increase their welfare load. Also part of this article was a tidbit on a voluntary amputation program. Obsessed with infiltrating this problem, Dan journeys there to Belgium, only to find a whole other hidden world open up to him that he gets drawn into. It is a hidden world they call "The Pantheon," comprised of a "sex club" in an underground hostel. Now he finds himself in an inescapable problem where it is impossible to balance being caught up in a hidden sex world, and managing a dead senator's estate- the efforts of which were slowly draining him financially and emotionally. Dan endeavors to even further the reach and presence of The Pantheon, viewing them as a "persecuted minority" seeking their own freedom and refuge. He has been spurred on by "Soup Dog" (formerly Hoofska), who, with a new change of style to disco era fashions and norms (running a renegade disco party scene), continues to indirectly entice him by trying to keep him "high on booty while never tasting it." Once completely mired in the Pantheon by his own doing, his only hope might be to be rescued by a CIA operative named Dan Seville. By Seville's similarity to Dan, he risks being drawn in also.
