The Long Ride

Callum MacRoe was faced with the most difficult of challenges that life could present before anyone. Rising a child on their own. However, as the years past Shari grew into a happy child, yet something was missing from her life. Her mother. A mother that at the time wanted nothing to do with the child she and Callum brought into the world. Nevertheless, in the most cruelest twist of fate Vanessa was faced with the most earth shattering news any woman could hear. She could never have another child. Returning back to her hometown Vanessa seeks to establish a relationship with the daughter she left behind. Callum on the other hand would rather she didn't see the child she gave up, although as he looked into his daughter's eyes he knew Shari needed her mother no matter of the amount of ill feelings he had for Vanessa. As Shari started to bond with her mother, Callum is introduced to Itzel who brings a light into his life that he hasn't felt in eight long years.
