Design Women's Clothing in Design Work

The tasks of clothing design, designated as priorities in the concept of higher professional education, require the provision of the necessary conditions for the comprehensive development of the personality of a costume designer. The creation of modern clothes is a complex and multi-stage process. The design and modeling of women's clothing for a figure, taking into account deviations from the standard, requires a special approach at the stage of sketch development, followed by construction of the design and implementation in practice. If the figure differs from the typical figure, then there is only one way out for costume designers - to hide the flaws, emphasizing the merits, choosing the color, pattern on the fabric, line, based on visual illusions in clothes. A woman should always remain feminine, regardless of the parameters of her body. It is no secret that at the present stage of development of the fashion industry, many well-known fashion houses are engaged in the production of plus size clothes. Indeed, studies show that the number of overweight women in Europe has reached 35%, while in America this figure already exceeds 60%. In the mid 90s. 20th century famous designer Alain Weizmann made an attempt to solve the problems of obese women. He was one of the first to organize the release of designer clothes for women of non-standard sizes. His brand "Rondissimo" in 2001. was renamed and today is known worldwide as "Alain Weiz". At the same time, plus size clothing brands such as Marina Rinaldi, Elena Miro, Kiadi and others are considered popular. In total, in Europe, according to 2007, there were more than thirty firms producing fashionable clothes for overweight women.
