The 'Huckleberry Finn' style adventures and escepades are set in easy-to-read narratives, all puntuated with undercurrents of humour. FLY AWAY HOME, the title story, centers on a boy with psychic ability, who could predict the time of death of his family and himself. The other stories focus on:- the fun and exuberance of cricket matches; the facination of boys with marble games, and revenge; a polio deformed boy's adventure in a canefield and; a river drama. About the Author Andy Mead was born in London in 1953. After spending much of his childhood in Jamaica, he returned to England in 1970.
