When, on a rainy night, Tanya finds a furry, mysterious creature in her balcony, she innocently shelters it in her house and unwittingly alters the fate of her world. The year is 2050 and the world ten-year-old Tanya has inherited is centred in the fictional colony of Kalpana Nagar, nestled somewhere in the heart of South Delhi. It's a land of flying advert drones and creeping underground slums. It's where a strict Mamma and a kind, old 'Jiji' complete Tanya's family and where, without telling them, Tanya hopes to secretly raise her newfound 'little brother'. But the gutsy girl doesn't realise that her 'brother' is the last of a dying species and in this fast choking world, there might not be enough space for both of these little 'children of mother nature'.
