This work contains 18 papers from the First Meeting of the International Organization for Qumran Studies. Seven papers analyze parts of previously unedited texts: 4Q47, 4Q222, 4Q265, 4Q286-290, 4Q385B and the Psalm scrolls. Other papers discuss various aspects of well-known texts: IQIsaa, The Temple Scroll and the Hodayot. The remaining papers cover a range of subjects: the publication process, the wilderness community, the scrolls and the New Testament, computer-aided scrolls research, dating and wisdom traditions.
