The Painted Walls of Babylon

From humble beginnings Billy James graduates from Cambridge with a degree in archaeology. At university he meets a German student called Rachel. They become partners then lovers and plan a future together. In 1939 war's declared and Rachel has to choose between Billy and her family. The Painted Walls of Babylon is about barriers, partitions and separation both physically and mentally. It's a story about the walls that we can see and those that we can't.
