When endeavoring to get good grades, our focus must be on our schoolwork, and all outside distractions must be set aside. In this story, Sue is stalked by a guy named Cash. After numerous attempts of asking Cash to refrain from harassing her, Sue finally calls her big brother. Things begin to come into focus when Joe Pool, Sue's big brother, comes to address Cash about his stalking of Sue. Cash eventually realizes that his behavior has been leading him astray. Now he understands that he can rule his own destiny by studying hard and getting good grades on his report card like Sue. This short story is written in memory of my son Sergio Marciano Cox Ponder.
