A floating island, known as Merry-go-round Island, alias the Isle of Desserts, took on a new name when Scout Pee-wee Harris took his Alligator Patrol to camp there. Inspired by the book Treasure Island, Pee-wee turned it into an adventure. Then he wanted to make a commercial success of "Alligator Island."
