The passion, crucifixion, and resurrection of our Holy Savior were undeniably the most significant events in all of human history. The story of Easter is no less remarkable after the passage of two-thousand years; especially when we allow the weight of Christ's sacrifice to impress upon our hearts. The purpose of this project is to visually tell the Easter story to children, using some of the most famous and influential pieces of Catholic artwork. The images in this book are all part of a digitally restored collection referred to as The Great Catholic Art Project. The curator of this collection allows unrestricted and royalty-free use of these high-resolution digital files for personal and commercial projects. Each work of art that is featured in this book contains a caption, which denotes the title of the piece and the artist's name.
