Killing Suicide is a book that captures my core nature and instinct to help people when I can. Killing Suicide is also my first attempt at being a writer. The number one goal I had for myself was to be as honest as I possibly could with a topic that through my research learned affects more people than I ever could have imagined. Killing Suicide is a blend of today's statistics, specific Bible verses and my own personal account of being afflicted with depression for most of my life. Killing Suicide is also a book that touches on my view of manhood and how when the chain of Godly manhood is broken by our fathers, the third and fourth generations of children are left to pay a horrible price of being separated from God by such a large chasm that it seems impossible to be able to get back to Him. My hope is that my book finds it's way to people who need to know they are not alone suffering from depression and thoughts of suicide, and in me, can see themselves and know that there is a way out. Killing Suicide is also a redemption story about an everyday guy that shows and tells how God is real. Killing Suicide will leave you to stop and think about yourself, your mental health, your relationship with Jesus Christ and if you have kids, to think long and hard about the affect you are having on them, because you are affecting your children, good or bad, whether you know it or not for generations to come.
