Hold My Hand
Glenys Carl
Glenys Carl's life changed forever with one phone call in the middle of the night - the call every parent dreads. Half a world away, in Australia, her son Scott had suffered a traumatic brain injury and was not expected to live. What followed was a nightmare of red tape, skeptical doctors, missed opportunities. But then help appeared, almost magically, in the form of hundreds of generous volunteers willing to help Glenys and Scott. This book is a vivid record of Glenys' remarkable experience. It's a story of a young man's courage and humor and his mother's determination, grit and grace.
