Education in a Changing World

EDUCATION IN A CHANGING WORLD, by Irie Glajar, challenges the individual and the human race to forever continue learning as the World changes, recognizing that improving education is one of the most important common interests necessary to our very survival. Irie well understands his subject matter, experiencing life as a student, graduate, refugee, teacher, author, and professor. Irie approaches education, in part, from his own unique life experiences, such as his daring escape in 1981, at age 26, from (then) totalitarian Romania. Irie had no passport and very little money as he escaped crossing the old Yugoslavia, making his way to the United Nations' refugee camp in Latina, Italy, and to the U. S. A. in 1982.
