In support of a dear sick friend, Elaine "Petie" Pedersen Koverman, the Mill Valley long distance runner, I accepted the invitation of Clifford Conly, an obstreperous old retired San Francisco architect, to move into the attic of his and his sidekick's nearby Sonoma home rent free. The hijinks that transpire during these six unimaginable months are recorded in 30,000 words or less.
