Herschel "Bones" Pedersen has been an instrument in the hands of the Lord in helping to rescue many people from whatever vicissitudes life brings. Whether as a young missionary in Denmark, a basketball player, mission president, Geneva Steel worker, mission representative of the Twelve or senior missionary with his wife, remarkable success in sharing the gospel has followed Herschel everywhere. Unwilling to invite attention to himself, Herschel has for years resisted putting these stories to print; persuaded that they might ultimately be helpful to others, he finally agreed to their publication.
