There are three main reasons why the question of Suu Kyi racism arises. These are (1) the Rohingya issue, (2) the Kachin War, and (3) the Bama Supremacy. The scientific view of racism is also weighed in. The big question is: Why shall not we openly discuss these thorny and sensitive racial issues? By keeping these issues suppressed and prohibited, as taboos behind closed doors, we are simply brewing jungle fires, and we are seeing the jungle fires in the Rakhine State, Mandalay, Meiktila, and in all conflict zones around the borders of Myanmar. In the eyes the world, Suu Kyi is the only qualified Myanmar person to lead Myanmar into openness. When she is silent, conserved, reserved, or calculating at a time of dire need for openness and transparency a legitimate question arises. Is Suu Kyi a racist?
