Mummy Sarah's Cookbook: A Collection of Family Recipes
Goldie Newell
As a representation of our family's history and heritage tied to food, this cookbook spans several different countries, cultures, and culminates in what we hope is a unique and interesting experience for those who attempt to try Mummy Sarah's recipes. Growing up, we were fortunate enough to experience a variety of different flavours, tastes and textures that tend to find roots outside of what most consider mainstream cooking.
Turkish cuisine is based on origins and traditions of the Ottoman Empire which formed in the 13th Century. The food and culture are influenced by the Ottoman State's geographical locations and is a mixture of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Western Asian, Persian, North African, and Eastern European dishes. Turkish food is considered the most nutritious, flavoursome, exotic, tasty, creative cuisine and includes the widest range of healthy dishes.
