All The Shadowed Places

All the Shadowed Places is a saga set in the beautiful hills of the Cotswolds and the narrow, dangerous streets of the Victorian East End slums.

When a childhood challenge ends in disaster, Horatio Woodley shoulders the blame for the death of his sister, Angelica, and the ultimate death of his father, James.

After being sent away to school, Hero, encouraged by his friend, Alec Silverman, the son of a wealthy Jewish immigrant, finds solace bareknuckle fighting. Together they become caught up in the dark attractions of the East End, where they encounter the likes of unscrupulous Jolly Jack Barrett, rent collector, murderer and pimp.

Meeting three young women that have fallen prey to Jack Barrett who desperately need help, Hero, along with his friend, Andrew Keene, find themselves caught up in a dangerous situation that involves debauchery, blackmail and abduction.

When menace pools in every shadow of this perilous place, treachery abounds and lives are at stake, Hero would never have believed he could find the salvation and love that he longs for.
