Returning from a whirlwind honeymoon in Las Vegas, with her new husband Corey, Katherine believes the marriage will help to get her and her young daughter Ava's life back on track.

But the euphoria of the honeymoon soon fades when Katherine notices a sudden change in Corey's behaviour. He is angry with her and careless toward Ava.
