The Dancing Debutante: The Adventures of a Society Beauty on and off the Stage
Elfrida Eden Fallowfield
Elfrida Eden was born into a distinguished family - her uncle was a Prime Minister, Sir Anthony Eden. As one of the last true 'debs' she mingled with the stars. She auditioned for Judy Garland and turned down Norman Wisdom's offer of a film role. She also turned Sean Connery down when he made a pass at her at a party after being cast as James Bond.
