With a fistful of attitude and a sprinkling of sass, this one's for the girls. Laura and Pauline are two very different people. Independently, they aren't beautiful, intelligent, or brilliant in any way - at least, that's what they think. But when you put the two of them together, that's when the magic happens. That might be why they've been best friends forever. When they're not too busy fighting the system in their home city of Liverpool, Laura and Pauline manage a little cafe together, in Tenerife. Pauline loves listening to music from the eighties and watching endless reruns of the TV show, Countdown - could that be why she doesn't have a steady boyfriend? Laura performs a stand-up comedy routine, two nights a week, but we'll keep that to ourselves (for security reasons). She doesn't have a boyfriend (as such) either, but that's because she doesn't want or need one. When a cute holidaymaker called Graeme, who also hails from Liverpool and happens to be wearing a New Order t-shirt, comes to the cafe for breakfast - the game is on for Pauline. She's immediately smitten and tired of being single. Laura will try to help her friend partner up, but she's always been quick witted and opinionated with it, so things probably won't go smoothly. Laura does think one of Graeme's friends, Liam, seems interesting, but... you know, the single life - with no commitments. A rip-roaring female driven rom-com. You don't need super powers to change the world - only the confidence to be yourself.
