A Life In Contrast

Preaching a series through the Sermon on the Mount had a transformative impact on my life. I will forever be grateful for the grace of God that came to me through this series. Mine has been an interesting journey. For a number of years I preached the accepted denominational line. I preached those things that were safe. I preached in a way that was considered proper. I was doing as I had seen, hears, and been taught to do. Then change came. Slowly at first, then with increasing swiftness. I began to discover the depths of the Scriptures on my own. Various authors, both past and present, deeply challenged my thinking. As this journey continues the intensity is increasing. I am finding it challenging, convicting, and exhilarating all at once. The Bible has never been more alive to me than right now. "A Life in Contrast: through from the Sermon on the Mount" was birthed from this journey. The Sermon on the Mount has changed me in ways that nothing else has and in ways that will never be undone. This book is my invitation for you to enter a life-changing journey. "A Life i Contrast" will challenge the readers to examine character issues in deeply significant ways. These challenges will result in a deepening relationship with God through Christ, greater consistency between faith and life, and a depth of strength that will enable the reader to live a life in contrast with the practices of the world around us.
