While Federal Politics dominate the news cycle and create the hot button political issues of the day (Build the Wall! Medicare for All! Lock her Up! Tax the Rich!), the decisions that impact your life and my life day to day are not made in Washington. And they are not made by career politicians. Your local government has far more influence over your day to day life than Washington. Your local City Council (or Board) and local County Commission yield far more influence over the quality of life issues (traffic, schools, safe neighborhoods), that should matter to YOU. So, while who is and who isn't the next candidate for President, or next Supreme Court Nominee, or Senator may grip the national headlines, your life is actually being impacted by your local elected officials. Who are these people? Can you even name them? Should you be trusting them to make decisions about your life? Your family? Your community?Should you be one of them?You can win a local election.
