Denise Leduc
On a spring day, Judy and granddaughter Kate visit an antique shop. Judy is drawn to an old wooden trunk. Later, she discovers a letter hidden inside. Curious, Judy and Kate set out to discover more about the letter and the woman it is addressed to.
The first in our hi-lo (high interest/low reading level) series for older adults. While these heartwarming tales can be enjoyed by anyone, they are specially crafted for people experiencing cognitive impairment such as dementia. Short sentences, paragraphs and chapters make for a pleasant reading experience.
People may enjoy these books on their own, with a loved one, or in a group setting.
Each book contains illustrations throughout. After each chapter, there are general discussion questions to encourage engagement and connection.
