Writing poetry came naturally to Bill Robertson as he had a grand-uncle, David Gray (1838-1861), born in the village of Merkland, near Kirkintilloch, Scotland, who became a well-recognized Scottish poet. Over the years, Bill has been inspired to write an occasional poem about events and people around him, which, after many years have been collected in this book.
