What the War Can't Erase (Love Romance Series)
Rosaline is a twenty-eight year-old woman living in 1811, her parents are trying to find her a husband because she is of age. She's been constantly scaring off her suitors, mostly because she is unable to forget the friend she fell in love with and is married to her sister. But circumstances force her to try and it leads to her meeting with Benjamin. Benjamin is a widowed businessman with two daughters; his parents are also trying to get him to marry, but he is constantly getting his daughters to scare them off because he doesn't want to subject them to that pressure. Unfortunately his parents issue and ultimatum and demand that he marry or they will take his daughters; enter Rosaline. Upon meeting they realize that they don't want to marry each other, and that they could make that work in their favor: marry for a short while then get divorced. The arrangement seems simple enough, until an unavoidable but not unwanted attraction develops between them. Soon they're false marriage starts to become less false, as they find love and comfort with each other. But with war on the horizon, and with the war in their hearts, will their love survive?
