Dancer Investigations are approached by ageing actor Luke Rockford who tells them he was once a close friend of Marilyn Monroe and that he was involved in the Kennedy assassination. He says that he is now being stalked by one of JFK's men and that his life is in danger. Maggie Dancer and Joe Box doubt Rockford's story at first but, as events unfold, a fifty year chase that started in Brentwood LA at the time of Marilyn Monroe's death and passed through Dallas on the day of JFK's assassination finally ends in a Birmingham back street. - PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED AS DIRTY WORK
