Residual Effect
Sydney Porter
The relaxed morality of Bourbon Street in the 1990's is the backdrop for her story. A homecoming of sorts for this bohemian beauty with the mouth of a longshoreman. Embraced by the lifestyle of the French Quarter, she fit in as if she had always been there. No longer a need to accommodate the norm, she could blossom..
Armed with street wisdom and quick wit, she was able to explore different avenues of expression. The fulfillment of unspoken desire was at her threshold. Tattooing her soul. Leaving a residual effect.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: It is in more than one way very different from what one expects from a romance. It has much more depth in the characters and their interactions. A very mature book with an intense story.
I love this book of yours. Been thinking about your characters all day. Started your book yesterday afternoon and couldn't stop reading til around 11PM. I'm usually lights out by 9:30/10.
Such great character development. I felt like I was back in New Orleans. A rollercoaster ride of a story. STEAMY
