Grief is an ever present reality for many. For some it may be the loss of a parent at a young age or a friend at a crucial point in their life. Many times in those circumstances we feel a little bit able to define and give shape to our grief. For many, however, who have lost children through a miscarriage or very early in their life, grief seems to take a different shape. It's hard to define and yet it is present. Present in the missing voices, and in knowing where their child would fall alphabetically in a class, always present. This is a short book that attempts to give shape and hope to what is yet to come. An uncle has a reunion with a niece he has never met after his death. Hope is alive, and it is very much real, Over There.
