"Divorce Unscripted" is a humorous, self-help book, written for women who are going through a divorce. As a therapist and divorce survivor, I have a unique perspective on this topic. During my journey, I learned that if you can find humor, in the face of the most horrible things, you will not only survive but heal and thrive. Divorce Unscripted is full of practical divorce advise dispensed through entertaining essays like: " Watch your money honey", "Don't fight over a tea cup", "Finding your voice" and "Bitch - get a good haircut". I started writing, a vast majority of these essays, while going through my own divorce. Well, it's been 10 years and I now feel, I have a pretty good co-parenting relationship with my ex. Something, I never thought was possible when we split up. BUT...... First, I had to learn to care for myself and my kids. This is the story of how I got there. My prayer is that my experiences will help some other folks move through this transition, a little easier than I did. FYI - This book makes a great gift for a friend going through a divorce!
