Two characters, a husband and wife, take off in a sailboat. They continue through many adventures on many other planets throughout the galaxies and Universe, and beyond the Universe. Their adventures on many other planets are metaphorical and philosophical, and eventually, through a series of evolution metaphors, the two characters arrive back on Earth. They are living their normal lives, and there is the suggestion they are writing a novel together. The novel remains unclear as to whether their adventures on other planets were reality, a series of dreams, or simply part of their novel. After a few adventures in normal Earth life reality, including meeting the man's dad and woman's mom, the two characters again start traveling to other planets and stars with the dad, mom, and man's granddad. They tour the Orion Nebula Factory and visit the Andromeda Galaxy. The novel is fast-paced, even with dense sentences and metaphors about the meaning of life, thoughts of God, and questions about the reality and purpose of the Universe. The husband and wife's relationship grows as the novel progresses. They travel around the Universe and beyond, and then spend much time in their apartment. They discuss many interesting, philosophical, ideas.
