The James' Song
James Allen
James' Song is a compilation of verses primarily from the Book of Psalms and a few from Isaiah, Matthew, and Revelation. The author's love for the Psalms began while he was living in New York City (Harlem & Brooklyn). The idea of compiling verses was conceived while he was living in Omaha, Nebraska.
Ray Reid composed music to accompany the author's recitation of verses, and the work was recorded on tape (circa 1993). The author has grown to understand that giving thanks and praising God is a "Prelude to Worship" (Pastor Robert Young).
