This story is based on the true to life story of T-MAC who witnessed life as a teenager during the times of the 1980's. During the peak of gang violence in the 80's along with the deadly drive by shootings in South Central Los Angeles you will experience what it feels like to be a young adult that was falsely accused and beat 3 attempted murder cases and was fully vindicated of all charges. T-MAC was an outstanding all around athlete which excelled at all sports such as football, basketball, baseball, track and field. T-MAC has broken many records that are still on the book but his success came with a price. T-MAC's family was Jehovah Witness and was often at the same kingdom hall as Michael Jackson and just as Michael Jackson had to choose the approval of his religion over his art and music so did T-MAC. He was forced to decline the opportunity to carry the flag for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles because of his religion which was the same choice Michael Jackson had to make in order to make his classic "THRILLER". T-MAC went on to continue his quest to succeed in sports by becoming one the many head coaches for the 87 Special Olympics. He also was involved in the formation of Camp Bloomfield foundation for the junior blind and Special Olympics. Throughout all of his adversity T-MAC's spirit was never broken as his mentor was one of the original bodyguard for Eazy E and Ruthless Records in which he was apart of but that is the story for the next book.
