Zoe Tyler's life is...just
okay. She likes her job, has supportive friends, and a boyfriend who used to be
around a lot more but now spends more time appeasing his demanding boss than
putting effort into their relationship. Zoe knows their romance is hanging by a
thread--she just hasn't pulled out the scissors yet.




Paige Newbanks moved to a new city in the hopes of a
fresh start, and chance to get to know her half-brother, Jake, better. She didn't
anticipate wanting to get to know his girlfriend better too. When Jake invites
Paige to live with them, Zoe's initial annoyance at not even knowing he had a
half-sibling dissipates as she starts to realize her boyfriend's half-sister is
all the things she wishes her boyfriend was.











Jake promises to put more effort into them, but
as those promises begin to feel empty, Paige finds it easy to latch on to the
one person who always seems to be there when he's not. His half-sister. But as
much as Zoe and Paige want to be together, they need to figure out how to do it
without hurting the man who brought them together.
