Celeste: Book 2

""Sixteen-year-old Eleanor, a shapeshifter dealing with her new body, finds herself targeted by rumors, superstition, and religion, forcing her to decide if she should cling to hope, or follow her instincts and run"--

Marc Notes: The sleepy little town of Jamesford becomes a national battleground of faith and science, hatred and hope. Eleanor - the girl whose life depends on not being noticed - is at the centre of it all. Trusting David with the secret of what she is, Eleanor tries to keep the promise she made her mother to rejoin humanity, even if Eleanor might not be human. She dreams of a future beyond mere survival, beyond fear and loneliness - a future where she matters. But Jamesford is plagued with strangers, a predator is on the loose, and the rumours surrounding the girl from Cedar Street never quite disappear. Biographical Note: Johnny Worthen is the author of "Beatrysel," "Dr. Stuart s Heart," "Eleanor," and "Little Visible Delight." He lives in Sandy, Utah."

Contributor Bio:  Worthen, Johnny Johnny Worthen is a lifetime student of the occult and supernatural. Raised in a secluded suburb of Salt Lake City, he gravitated to the more obscure paths of spiritual knowledge. He is a Freemason, twice Past Master of his Lodge, youngest ever at the time. Johnny received a Bachelor's Degree in English with a Classics minor before earning a Master's Degree in American Studies from the University of Utah. He lived a year in Denmark and a decade in Oregon until the rain drove him back to the dry high deserts of Utah. He married his junior-prom date and together they have two sons. After many varied and interesting careers, Johnny writes full time now.
