Polluted: Water is our lifeline

Each year thousands of seabirds die, along with turtles and other sea creatures. If nothing changes by 2048, our fishes and marine life will perish. Truly a sad epitaph, are we truly that ignorant? Shawn has become captivated by environmental issues of our time. "My reason for this is we can control what we have created." Shawn's wife Betty is also a firm believer in environmental issues. Betty is Shawn's second wife. The couples' first spouses are deceased. Together they have a large family, 11 children. Shawn and Betty both attend church.
