Wonder

It was Socrates who first said, "Wonder is the beginning of wisdom." And our heroine's mother just happened to tell our heroine the very same thing just as she was going out the front door to play. And our heroine was dumbfounded once again. Because (you see) once again, she didn't know why her mother said what she said, or understand why her mother said what she said, or what it was her mother meant by what she had said. And so, she asked everyone she knew! And she began with the elephant!
