He is also the President and CEO of Raisinghani and Associates International, Inc., a diversified global firm with interests in strategic information systems consulting and technology options trading. Dr. Raisinghani earned his Ph. D. from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Certified E-Commerce Consultant (CEC). Dr. Raisinghani was the recipient of the 1999 UD Presidential Award, 2001 King/Haggar Award for excellence in teaching, research and service; 2002 research award and a finalist at the 2002 Asian Chamber of Commerce awards. Dr. Raisinghani won the Organizational service Award for being the Best Track Chair at IRMA 2002. As a global thought leader on E-Business and Global Information Systems, he serves as the VP of Global IT Management Association and the chairman of IRMA's Special Research Cluster on E-Business. He has also served as the local chair of the International Symposium on Research Methods in 2002 and the World Conference on Global Information Technology Management in 2001; and as the track chair for E-Commerce Technologies Management at the Information Resources Management Association since 1999.
