Constitution for a Free People for City, County, Provincial State and National Governments - Revised

Constitution for a Free People presents all the tools needed to create a charter for freedom for any government: city, county, state, nation, or colony on the Moon or Mars.

It is based on the original Constitution for the United States, with worthy safeguards to secure liberty and curb an overreaching government. It assumes that men and women are born free and that most, when they arrive at the years of majority, are capable and able to solve common problems.

It hails the U. S. Constitution as a charter of liberty and shows how the ideas behind its creation can be the basis for any government. Many statements from the Founders of the United States are given in support.

Constitution for a Free People is for all who love liberty. It presents a plan for a government of the people, by the people and for the people... a plan for keeping decision making close to home... a plan for securing for all people their best hope for liberty, prosperity and happiness.

Douglas Buck was born in a land of liberty and filled with industrious people, where neighbors helped one another with their problems or needs. Children played and walked or rode their bikes to school with little concern about being abused or taken hostage. Government was unobtrusive.

Buck lived with his parents and grandparents. Everyone had chores. The family raised fruits, produced eggs and milk, and plowed walks and driveways. There was no need to register each business and follow a slew of regulations. People were careful and responsible.

In his later years, Buck read The Making of America by W. Cleon Skousen, which reviews each clause of the U. S. Constitution, giving reasons for it inclusion. Knowledge of those reasons and Buck's belief that true principles are timeless and applicable everywhere inspired this book.
