Starting his life as the son of migratory farm workers, he understood little of material things or the world around him. Leaving that insulated and isolated environment, he eventually became the first generational family member to attain a college degree. This led to successes as a Naval Officer (pilot), and in residential and commercial real estate ownership. With each success he felt he was more and more in control of his world. Then a series of events brought him to his knees physically, emotionally and spiritually. A horrendous crash of his helicopter into the South China Sea off the coast of Vietnam, came close to ending his life. The death of their son Eric, followed by stage four cancer, were two psychological body blows that devastated their lives! He suffered two other cancers up until the time of this writing. Triple by-pass, open heart surgery saved his life another time. Starting in 2008, they have lost in excess of two million dollars due to corporate greed. Throughout these devastating events their faith in Jesus Christ matured and has become the bedrock of their very existence! This is the story of that journey. Clyde, and his wife Diane, are soon approaching their 55th. year of marriage. They live in Bonita, California where they have resided since 1976.
