My Appeal to Heaven
Christina Rose
A spiritual memoir of DAR Christina Rose as she journeys through North and South America. After her father's tragic suicide, Christina moves to San Francisco to find freedom by windsurfing under the Golden Gate bridge. She marries another windsurfer and they start a family in beautiful Marin County. While it seems as though Christina has found her happily ever at last, within a few short years she finds herself in the same spiritual warfare battle that her father had succumbed to. As her patriot ancestors made an appeal to heaven for God's mercy for their freedom, Christina makes her appeal to heaven and God for freedom for her family. As she learns to trust God for everything, a story unfolds that reveals the sovereign grace and divine love our ever-present God has for each of us. Christina learns that when our plans fail, God is waiting for us to meet Him with a plan that is far greater than the one we had planned for ourselves.
