Winter

Created by a teacher for teachers, this unit is dedicated to the winter season. Children will be introduced to winter and all things associated with this cold season: winter animals, hibernation, winter sports and attire. Throughout this unit, children will have the opportunity to make snow and play with it, create an igloo out of a balloon, learn about hibernation, and participate in fun and creative activities. Each segment includes a complete planning web and classroom goals. All activities are described in great detail and have been tested in many preschool classrooms.
