Novella Trek

Novella Trek is both a very funny Star Trek parody and Zai Jaz sigh-phi adventure with some erotic chapters and sequences. As Zai Jaz (or mysterious other?) commences writing a novella, a pan-dimensional entity (cryptically known as the Pan-Dimensional Entity) possesses his (or another's?) future omniputer, and with naughty intent sends the BRA Starship Compromise ACDC-1071 through a spatial anomaly and imprisons it and the crew in the book. Captain James 'Jimmy the Quirk' Quirk and A-list officers thus have to find a way out, and as the fabled 23rd Century Terranian hero himself says as the crew find themselves acting out of character: "If we don't all pull together we may never get out of this novella alive!"

While Quirk and crew endeavour to find out who the real author is in hope of making contact, disaster strikes as an oddly throbbing wormhole instantly transports them back to Terrania which they crash into at super-light speed. But the ship miraculously emerges from the other side in the form of the Compromise ACDC-1071 Rebuild! All of the crew are older and have been promoted, but none are aware of any change, and next they find themselves transported light years across space again and into the 24th Century. Here they make contact with the Compromise ACDC-1071-D under the command of Captain Levi 'Pot Luck' Pickles, and together they try to find a way out of the novella.

After encountering an Iceborg big pink nasty cube ship and other extra-galactic aliens they've not had contact with before, they finally meet up with Zai Jaz and his star-yacht Amora. Zai Jaz denies being the author and also claims to have been trapped inside the novella by the mysterious Pan-Dimensional Entity - and the Compromise-D's Ship's Psycho, Defaima Groin, senses that he's telling the truth. As the crews of the three ships misadventure onwards they finally arrive at ACE Star Base Deep Throat Whine - ACE being the Affable Confederation of Ecospheres - where the commander, Vitamin Disco, is loathe to accept that they all now exist in the alternate reality of a sigh-phi novella. Eventually the allied crews find themselves in the Helter-skelter Quadrant where they make contact with the long lost starship Voyeur under the command of Captain Kathode 'Heady' Headway, and at last they do battle with the deviant Pan-Dimensional Entity.

Please be warned that this novella contains explicit descriptions of the sex act: heterosexual and lesbian/'fantasy androgynous'. If you are under the age of 18 or are opposed to explicit erotica, please do not purchase this tome. All fictional characters in this novella are aged 20 or over.

PS and there's more: this book is 60k words in length, and to many writers groups and small publishing companies, anything over 40k words is a novel. However, major trade publishers usually require 70k words for novel status, and some (for example Snowbooks) won't publish under 70k. I decided to keep this title as Novella Trek, as besides it being under 70k it just sounds cooler than Novel Trek! .
